As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, aircraft-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing guests in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
