Looking for Product Cybersecurity Program Management Lead for CYBERSECURITY DIVISION
Location: Plano, Texas,
Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Product Cybersecurity Program Management Lead to support Product Cybersecurity leadership in establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving program management execution across the Product Security portfolio.
This role is responsible for establishing and improving the program management practices, reporting standards, operating rhythms, and execution discipline used across the Product Security portfolio. The position serves as the primary coordinator for Product Security Program Managers, helping establish operating standards, execution practices, portfolio visibility, executive reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple teams and divisions.
The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity program delivery and is experienced with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, and workflow automation platforms to improve transparency, accountability, and operational effectiveness.
While focused primarily on strengthening Product Security program management practices, operating standards, and portfolio execution, this role may also provide direct Program Manager leadership for strategic, complex, or high-priority initiatives when business needs require additional support.
Essential Functions:
โ€ข Establish, standardize, and continuously improve program management processes, templates, reporting structures, operating rhythms, and execution standards across the Product Security portfolio.
โ€ข Drive adoption of common program management methodologies, reporting standards, operating practices, and tooling across the Product Security portfolio.
โ€ข Develop and maintain the Product Security program management playbook, including standard methodologies, reporting expectations, operating procedures, and best practices.
โ€ข Provide program management standards, mentoring, coordination, and operational guidance to Product Security Program Managers to improve consistency, execution quality, reporting effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and operational discipline.
โ€ข Support Program Managers in resolving risks, dependencies, and execution challenges, serving as an escalation and alignment resource before engagement with Product Cybersecurity leadership.
โ€ข Manage and maintain portfolio-level visibility across Product Security programs, ensuring milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, decisions, and key issues are tracked consistently and in compliance with established processes.
โ€ข Own and deliver Monthly Executive Program Updates, providing clear, concise status reports, risk assessments, mitigation plans, dependency summaries, and executive insights to senior leadership.
โ€ข Establish and maintain executive dashboards, portfolio metrics, reporting artifacts, and decision-support materials used to support organizational planning and executive decision-making.
โ€ข Assess the maturity and effectiveness of Product Security program management practices and recommend organizational improvements to support business objectives, execution excellence, and portfolio scalability.
โ€ข Assess program execution effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve planning quality, reporting consistency, stakeholder engagement, and delivery predictability across the Product Security portfolio.
โ€ข Maintain and track program metrics and KPIs to measure portfolio health, execution effectiveness, reporting quality, delivery performance, and operational maturity.
โ€ข Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring teams have the necessary prerequisites, decisions, inputs, and stakeholder alignment before starting or progressing their activities.
โ€ข Monitor program compliance and escalate risks, blockers, decisions, or impediments promptly to Product Cybersecurity leadership and senior management.
โ€ข Coordinate with cybersecurity analysts, engineering teams, product teams, Program Managers, and global stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain execution momentum.
โ€ข Facilitate communication and collaboration across divisions to ensure alignment and timely delivery of cybersecurity initiatives.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reporting quality, knowledge management, and program delivery effectiveness through AI-enabled productivity tools, workflow automation, and collaboration technologies.
โ€ข Provide direct Program Manager support for strategic, complex, or high-priority cybersecurity initiatives when portfolio needs require additional delivery capacity or leadership support.
โ€ข Serve as temporary or supplemental Program Manager coverage during periods of increased demand, staffing transitions, program onboarding activities, escalation recovery efforts, organizational initiatives, or critical delivery milestones.
โ€ข Lead program planning, schedule tracking, risk management, stakeholder communications, and execution follow-up for assigned programs when direct Program Manager support is needed.
Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business, Program Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, PMO functions, cybersecurity, software development, engineering, connected vehicle, IoT, embedded systems, or related technical delivery environments.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience establishing program management standards, reporting structures, operating routines, or PMO functions across multiple programs or teams.
โ€ข Experience establishing program management practices, operating standards, and delivery frameworks across Program Managers, project teams, or cross-functional delivery organizations.
โ€ข Strong understanding of program and product lifecycle management, including schedule management, dependency management, risk management, issue tracking, stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and delivery governance.
โ€ข Experience leading multiple concurrent programs and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
โ€ข Experience developing and maintaining program dashboards, metrics, reporting frameworks, templates, and operational processes.
โ€ข Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting platforms used to support program visibility and accountability.
โ€ข Experience with Power BI, workflow automation platforms, Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted reporting, knowledge management systems, or related productivity tools preferred.
โ€ข Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering executive-level updates and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
โ€ข Proven ability to identify risks early, manage escalations effectively, drive resolution, and influence outcomes across organizations.
โ€ข Experience working with distributed/global teams and managing cross-functional dependencies.
โ€ข Experience developing executive reporting, portfolio governance, operational metrics, and decision-support mechanisms for senior leadership.
