As a Security Officer Patrol in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, campus, parking areas, building perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant security-related information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
