Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets. This position involves monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to deter criminal activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol assigned premises on foot or by vehicle.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure safety and security.
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers if necessary.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
  • Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Follow company security and safety protocols at all times.
