Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity at the location.
  • Support daily operations by observing workplace conditions, reporting hazards, and/or assisting with orderly responses to disruptions, deliveries, or visitor-related matters.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
  • Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
