Position: Madison County Middle School seeks qualified, dynamic, and passionate full-time teachersย for anticipated vacancies for the 2026-2027 school year.
The teachers will develop and implement collaborative grade/subject area lessons that are hands-on, interactive, and aligned with theย Georgia
Standards.ย Additionally, the teachers will differentiate curriculum for students based on readiness levels and learning styles.
Location: Madison County Middle School
Qualifications:
01. Hold a clear renewable certificate in the area specified above.ย 
02. Demonstrated ability to relate and motivate all students with respect to learning styles to make
learning meaningful, effective, contextual and involving positive interactions for the ongoing
intellectual development of young minds.
03. Ability to successfully integrate technology into the classroom while engaging students.
04. Gifted certification or willingness to obtain gifted certification preferred.
05. Willingness to sponsor or coach extra-curricular activities.
Performance Responsibilities:
01. Must be present, organized and enthusiastically committed to the success of all assigned
students for the school calendar.
02. In collaboration with fellow grade/subject area members develops instructional unit plans and
outlines for instructing the pupils and subject matter assigned which will achieve the educational
results desired.
03. Instructs designed classes in accordance with collaborative grade/subject area plans and
outlines, modified as necessary to achieve the learning objectives; all within the policies of the
school system.
04. Implementing a pro-active, consistent, and effective classroom management system to
effectively instruct the class.
05. Committed professional, guarding instructional time by demonstrated attendance.
06. Counsels with students and parents on learning and discipline problems as necessary.
07. Supervises or assists in the supervision of school activities as assigned.
08. Performs related duties as assigned as circumstances require.
09. Complete all records and reports on time and with accuracy.
10. Familiar with the Teacher Keys Evaluation System and maintains satisfactory performance on
this evaluation instrument.
11. Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor(s).
12. Analyzing data to determine individual students' areas of strength and areas in need of
improvement and using this data to influence instructional decisions.
13. Monitoring student progress through formal and informal assessments.
14. Participating in Professional Development workshops and opportunities.
15. Other duties as assigned.
