Job Title: Scientific Laboratory Technician
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53225
Duration: 4 Months + 1 Week
Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off

Job Overview:
Seeking a Laboratory Technician to support food safety, quality control, and laboratory testing operations within a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine lab testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Conduct product analysis and document accurate test results
• Monitor/calibrate laboratory instruments and perform minor troubleshooting
• Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, and compliance documentation
• Support food safety and quality assurance initiatives
• Assist with inspections, experiments, and operational testing
• Follow safety and regulatory procedures
Required Skills:
• Laboratory testing or quality control experience preferred
• Food manufacturing background is a plus
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Instrument calibration & troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable in hot/dusty manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Comfortable climbing/crawling when needed
• Able to work in temperatures up to 110°F occasionally
Preferred Background:
• Experience in Food Lab / QA / QC environments
• Familiarity with SOPs, food safety, and compliance standards
