About the Role

Pete's RV Center is seeking RV Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles, including travel trailers and motorhomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working across multiple systems, and being rewarded for productivity and skill.

You'll work on a wide range of systems:

  • Electrical
  • Plumbing

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RV systems and components.
  • Perform general repairs across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Complete preventative maintenance and warranty work
  • Prioritize work orders and handle urgent service requests.
  • Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and work performed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all shop procedures, safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of technician experience (RV, automotive, marine, or related field preferred)
  • OR basic mechanical experience with a strong willingness to learn
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (for higher-level roles)
  • Ability to read and understand wiring schematics (preferred)
  • Experience in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical repair is a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must provide own basic hand/shop tools
  • Comfortable using tablet-based technology for work orders and documentation
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Certifications (RVIA/RVDA, ASE, etc.) are a plus-but not required.
We provide on-the-job training and support for certification advancement.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Comfortable with standing, bending, stooping, and crawling for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, dust, noise, etc.)
  • Willingness to work around heights and equipment-related hazards (electrical, welding, etc.)
