Summary/Objective:

A Consumer Direct Agent is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with shops and retail customers seeking parts across various RV and marine categories. This role leverages our parent company’s network and external vendor relationships to source materials efficiently.

Success in this position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and empathy when engaging with customers. While industry or technical knowledge is preferred, it’s not required. Candidates must be team-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and type at least 40+ words per minute.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and interpret data trends to identify and maximize sales opportunities.
  2. Accurately identify and source parts as required.
  3. Communicate effectively with other business units to ensure accuracy and consistency in operations.
  4. Understand and apply the Duncan claim process to relevant cases.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of insurance regulations and properly set up claims in accordance with guidelines.
  6. Review and evaluate claims to identify changing industry trends.
  7. Track and manage parts availability across multiple websites and platforms.
  8. Provide backup support by performing additional responsibilities for team members as needed.
  9. Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Document cases accurately and maintain thorough records.
  11. Assess customer needs and provide effective, tangible solutions to resolve issues.
  12. Identify correct parts based on photos and measurements of Lippert-manufactured components.
  13. Identify and implement opportunities to increase or maximize Duncan’s top-line profitability.
  14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to encourage repeat sales opportunities.
  15. Support and assist the direct supervisor in various operational and administrative roles.
  16. Promote and maintain a positive, collaborative, and harmonious team environment.
