What is a full-time RVer?

Full-time RVers are individuals or families who choose to live in their recreational vehicles (RVs) year-round rather than in a traditional house or apartment. They travel frequently, exploring different places while using their RV as their primary residence. Full-time RVing offers a flexible and adventurous lifestyle, but also comes with unique challenges such as managing mail, healthcare, and finding reliable internet on the road.

What are full-time jobs while living in an RV?

Full-time RV jobs include a variety of positions that you can do from a recreational vehicle. You can work as a graphic designer, a writer, or a data entry clerk, to name just a few. Working from an RV allows you to travel to remote locations while still using the internet to get a job done. In this role, you may use virtual office software to coordinate with other employees, access online databases, write content for websites, or design materials for the company. Most people who work from RV's use a laptop, but you may need to get a larger and more powerful computer if your job requires it.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full-time RV technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full-Time RV Technician, you need strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of RV systems, typically supported by technical training or certification (such as RVIA/RVDA). Familiarity with hand and power tools, diagnostic software, and electrical and plumbing systems is crucial. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers set top performers apart. These skills ensure safe, high-quality repairs and maintenance, leading to customer satisfaction and repeat business.

What are some common challenges faced by full-time RVers in maintaining a work-life balance while on the road?

Full-Time RVers who work remotely often find it challenging to separate their work and personal life due to limited space and the constant change of environment. Reliable internet access can also be a hurdle, requiring advance planning and investment in mobile connectivity solutions. Additionally, time zone changes and varying campground environments may impact productivity and routine, so successful RVers develop strong organizational skills and flexible schedules to stay on track. Building community with other RVers and utilizing co-working spaces when available can also help maintain a healthy balance.

Red Ventures

New York, NY • Hybrid

$150K - $218K/yr

Full-time

Posted 21 days ago

Job description

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our New York City office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

The Senior Account Executive (AE) is responsible for two things: growing The Points Guy's existing credit card partner relationships (both directly and through their agencies), and expanding our credit cards business by securing new partnerships. This role owns the full lifecycle - from prospecting and pitching new partners to negotiating renewals and upsells with existing ones.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic account management and revenue growth-someone who enjoys building trusted relationships with major partners, identifying opportunities to expand those partnerships, and bringing a proactive, commercial mindset to developing new business.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and grow existing credit card partner relationships with both the issuer/partner directly and their agency counterparts through regular strategic engagement, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
  • Lead strategic account planning for the largest credit card partnerships, setting multi-quarter growth roadmaps.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new credit card partnerships to expand the advertiser ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities (new and expansion) using CRM and lead-tracking tools.
  • Work closely with Integrated Marketing and Sales Enablement to develop compelling proposals and presentations that align The Points Guy's media capabilities with partner objectives.
  • Negotiate commercial terms for both renewals and new deals  ensuring they meet profitability and strategic targets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to refine messaging and spot new market opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Post-Sale teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing partner health for existing accounts.
  • Represent The Points Guy at industry events and with senior partner stakeholders, acting as a face of the credit cards business externally.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital media sales, preferably in financial services, fintech, or credit cards.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts as well as winning new business.
  • Ability to operate with significant autonomy and represent TPG credibly with senior partner and agency stakeholders.
  • Executive presence with strong communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets across a mix of renewal and new-deal cycles.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Boostr) is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial products and credit card media sales preferred.

Compensation:

New York City Total Cash Compensation Range: $150,000 - $218,000 per year

This role is eligible for commission, which is in addition to the Total Cash Compensation Range. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Life Insurance
  • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Holiday Pay
  • 401(k) with match
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential.  That's why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy.  Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service.
