Position Overview
We are seeking a Route Operations Manager to support and strengthen day-to-day operations across the Bay Area.
Successful candidates must be comfortable working around trucks, dumpsters, multifamily properties, fast-moving operational issues, and physical outdoor work in a variety of environments and weather conditions.
This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground operational leadership role based in San Jose, not a desk-only management position.
The Route Operations Manager works directly with the field team while supporting route coverage, scheduling, accountability, customer communication, and daily operational execution.
This hybrid role includes administrative and scheduling responsibilities that may be completed remotely, balanced with daily time in the field supporting team members and customers.
About the Opportunity
The organization provides professional waste remediation services to multifamily communities throughout California, Washington, and Oregon. With over 15 years of industry experience, the company is committed to delivering sustainable solutions while continuously improving field operations and service quality. Availability and Requirements
This is a salaried, overtime-exempt position based in and around San Jose, CA. Work schedules vary based on operational needs and will be discussed during the interview process.
Because this role provides direct field and route support and responds to time-sensitive service needs, the Route Operations Manager must be able to travel to Bay Area sites within approximately 30-45 minutes when on-site support is required. Response times may vary based on traffic and operational demands.
