As a Burn Stepdown RN, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing - caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey 
• Performing expert procedures and medication administration – including pain relief and fluid therapy – delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort 
• Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions 
• Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs 

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of GA or possess a Compact License
• 1 year or RN experience preferred
