Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Hudson, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Nights | Rotating Weekends
Compensation: $33.85 – $47.02/hour + $4.75 Night Differential
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Overview

A high-acuity emergency department on Florida's Gulf Coast is seeking Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for full-time night shift opportunities. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments, value teamwork, and want strong clinical exposure across emergency and trauma-focused patient populations.

The department is open to experienced ED nurses as well as motivated nurses with at least 6 months of Emergency Department RN experience looking to continue building emergency medicine expertise within a structured acute care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across diverse patient populations and acuity levels
  • Perform rapid patient assessments, interventions, monitoring, and reassessments
  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures per physician orders
  • Accurately document care and clinical findings in the electronic medical record
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary staff to support efficient patient throughput and positive outcomes
  • Respond quickly and effectively during emergency and critical care situations
QualificationsRequired
  • Active Florida RN license
  • Minimum 6 months of Emergency Department RN experience
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred
  • PALS or ENPC certification
  • TNCC certification
  • Experience in high-volume or trauma-focused emergency departments
  • Strong prioritization and critical thinking skills
