Description

Highland Hills Medical Center seeks the right candidate to join our team of nurses in our Emergency Department for day shifts. This full-time RN position offers hospital benefits. 

This nurse will provide professional nursing care with the Emergency Department and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the Psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and Psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Shifts will be nights.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Current Mississippi Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC within one year of hire.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Demonstrate current competency in those clinical responsibilities for which assigned.
