Location: Hudson, FL
Pay Range: $33.85 – $47.02/hr. (Based on experience) + Benefits
Shift Differential: +$4.75/hr. Nights
Schedule Information
- Full-Time Night Shift
- Rotating weekends required

Position Summary
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered nursing care consistent with the standards and scope of emergency nursing practice.
In collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team, the RN utilizes evidence-based nursing practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes.
This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced emergency settings and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and monitor emergency patients of varying acuity levels
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered emergency nursing care
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by providers
- Monitor patient pain levels and provide appropriate pain management interventions
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Translate complex medical information into understandable language for patients and caregivers
- Promote patient wellness, disease prevention, and self-management education
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the medical record
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support patient safety initiatives and departmental performance goals
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License REQUIRED
- RN Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification required within 6 months of hire
- PALS or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 6 months of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire
- Strong emergency nursing, communication, and critical thinking skills REQUIRED
