Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Department: Medical Rehabilitation
Location: 3340 Hospital Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603
Compensation:
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for eligible full-time night shift roles
  • Shift Premium: $1.60 per hour in addition to base pay for eligible night shift roles

HealthSource Saginaw is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Medical Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will care for patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or complex medical conditions, supporting their journey toward improved function, independence, and quality of life.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in strengthening our nursing workforce, elevating the quality of care for every individual who enters our facility, and contributing to a culture of excellence. What You'll Do:
  • The Registered Nurse will perform the full range of assignments including but not limited to:
  • Assess patient's condition on admission and on an ongoing basis. Prepare measurable, attainable, reasonable, specific and individualized plan of care for patients.
  • Provide professional nursing care and perform routine treatments as prescribed by a physician or indicated by patient condition.
  • Use professional judgment regarding direction of care or treatment modifications given the condition of the patient.
  • Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary team in planning, evaluating and revising patient plan of care on a daily or regular basis. Direct nursing personnel in implementation of the care plan.
  • Observe and evaluate patient symptoms, progress and reaction to treatments and medications.
  • Recognize changes in patient's physiological and/or psychological state and provide safe therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide patient's families and caregivers with education on diagnosis-related care, medications, home care techniques, and post-discharge rehabilitation requirements.
  • Assist in orienting and training new personnel to the unit and serve as a resource person for other facility personnel and students.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (onsite training available if needed).
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan, or eligibility to obtain license.
    • Candidates awaiting NCLEX are encouraged to apply to our graduate nurse program.
    • New graduates may transition to a full-time RN role upon obtaining licensure.
