Lead LOS Configuration Engineer

Our client is looking for a Lead LOS Configuration Engineer to take ownership of the logic, workflows, and system behaviors that power a complex, distributed technology ecosystem.   • Design deterministic business rules and tasking workflows using tools like Drools to keep operations reliable and scalable
  • Partner with engineering, compliance, and product teams to translate business needs into supportable, version-controlled configurations
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across distributed cloud platforms, including failures, stale data, and workflow dependencies

  • 7+ years of experience in technology roles supporting complex, rules-driven systems, including 4+ years of hands-on configuration, workflow design, or platform engineering
  • 2+ years of experience leading a technical operations or business-systems team with direct delivery ownership
  • Hands-on expertise with enterprise business-rules management systems (such as Drools) and strong SQL skills
  • Proven ability to reverse-engineer distributed systems, trace transactions, and debug complex integrations
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
