The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who understands residential construction, communicates well, and takes pride in building homes the right way.

This role is a great fit for someone who values quality over shortcuts and can lead projects with strong attention to craftsmanship, communication, and accountability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, quality standards, and timelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
  • Communicate project updates, issues, and needs to the office and leadership team
  • Review work in progress and identify problems before they become costly delays
  • Support client satisfaction by helping deliver a smooth, professional building experience
  • Enforce company standards for craftsmanship, safety, communication, and accountability
  • Use JobTread to update project schedules, track daily progress, upload photos, document jobsite notes, and communicate project updates with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Site Superintendent, Project Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, or Field Manager in residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of custom home building, framing, finishes, schedules, and jobsite sequencing
  • Ability to read plans, manage trades, and solve field issues quickly
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable using basic technology for scheduling, communication, photos, and project updates
  • Experience with high-end custom homes is preferred
  • Experience using JobTread, BuilderTrend or similar construction project management software is a plus.
  • Work areas include Lauderdale County, Colbert County, and Lawrence County. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to these areas.

Pay and benefits:

  • Pay range: $65,000-$80,000+ per year, depending on experience
  • Full-time position
  • Growth opportunity with an established third-generation custom home builder
  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to work on high-quality custom homes, renovations, and expansions
  • Benefits may include paid time off, performance incentives, vehicle allowance, phone allowance, and/or health benefits depending on final company package
