As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individualized counseling sessions via video chat, developing a therapeutic relationship with clients to enhance their mental health.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to express their emotions and experiences, leading to greater self-awareness and healthier relationships.
• Serve as both a counselor and an advocate for your clients, assisting them in identifying personal goals and crafting action plans to achieve them.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions, utilizing your clinical expertise to create and implement effective treatment plans that follow a solution-focused methodology.

Your clients will be carefully screened individuals, predominantly stable adults experiencing mild to moderate emotional distress. They will not include those with severe mental health concerns, enabling you to work within a focused and manageable scope. You will have the autonomy to select client demographics that align with your expertise and comfort level, promoting synergy in your therapeutic work.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with telehealth software and communication tools.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Experience in conducting telehealth counseling sessions and familiarity with virtual communication methods.
