  • Create and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique challenges, including diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
  • Maintain regular client sessions, providing therapeutic techniques and coping strategies that empower clients to navigate their struggles and enhance their well-being.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and emotions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to align with therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize EHR systems for effective documentation, treatment planning, and follow-up, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health conditions. This includes those dealing with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma responses, and eating disorders, as well as clients grappling with substance abuse issues. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, and an understanding of their unique contexts is essential for effective therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state license as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy tailored to diverse populations.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in maintaining professional boundaries, ethical practice, and client confidentiality.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and the ability to navigate technology in clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with a variety of therapy techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in telehealth services and utilizing digital communication platforms for remote counseling.
