Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits

Job Summary
Join a remote behavioral health team as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), supporting New York clients who need consistent, professional mental health care.
This position is focused on one-on-one counseling and ongoing case management. You'll help clients work through concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and major life changes. Sessions are conducted virtually, giving you the opportunity to maintain a regular caseload while working from home.
Rather than splitting your time across multiple settings, your workday is centered around scheduled counseling appointments, follow-up care, and keeping each case moving toward established goals.
What You'll Handle
  • Meet virtually with clients for scheduled individual counseling sessions
  • Review presenting concerns, symptoms, personal history, and current needs
  • Establish clear therapeutic goals with each client
  • Select counseling methods that fit the client's circumstances and progress
  • Help clients develop practical strategies for managing emotional and behavioral concerns
  • Recognize changes in symptoms, functioning, or risk that may require further action
  • Record session notes and maintain complete electronic health records
  • Provide appropriate referrals when a client needs services outside your scope of care
  • Manage your appointment schedule and caseload within established practice standards
  • Follow New York regulations, professional ethics, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a qualifying related field
  • Active New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license
  • Previous experience providing psychotherapy or behavioral health counseling
  • Working knowledge of common mental health conditions and counseling approaches
  • Ability to independently organize a full-time caseload
  • Clear written communication and accurate recordkeeping skills
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work effectively in a virtual care environment

Benefits
  • 2 weeks paid time off
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) plan with 3% company match
  • Full-time weekday hours
  • Remote work environment
