• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and resources, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy through evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapies tailored to each client’s specific requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, employing innovative strategies to encourage engagement and progress.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including healthcare providers and specialists, to facilitate integrated care for clients and ensure treatment consistency.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as necessary, developing safety plans to support clients in distressing situations.
• Facilitate educational workshops and support groups, encouraging peer learning and providing resources that promote community well-being.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

You will serve a diverse clientele ranging from children and adolescents to adults, addressing a broad array of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your role will be pivotal in empowering clients to regain control over their lives, fostering resilience, and offering hope through collaborative and tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health or outpatient settings.
• In-depth understanding of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and patient assessment skills.
