Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings for clients to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment pathways.
  • Creating personalized treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based approaches, focusing on each client's specific challenges and aspirations.
  • Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions, where you will employ therapeutic techniques designed to promote healing and growth.
  • Collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.
  • Providing psychoeducation and support to clients' families, encouraging their involvement in the therapeutic process and promoting a strong support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including individuals suffering from a range of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment issues. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Hold a masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Exhibit a solid background in mental health counseling, demonstrating specialized training in therapeutic modalities.
  • Display a thorough understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to various mental health disorders.
  • Possess exceptional therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and foster motivation among clients.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of counseling experience is required, candidates who have additional experience in clinical settings, especially with diverse populations or specialized therapeutic methods, will be given preference.
