  • Deliver short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services tailored to address a wide array of issues, including anxiety, depression, and emotional distress.
  • Facilitate therapy groups and skill-building workshops that focus on key areas such as stress management, coping strategies, and interpersonal skills enhancement.
  • Collaborate with campus partners including academic advisors and student organizations to create an integrated support system that promotes both academic and personal success.
  • Engage in proactive outreach and prevention initiatives, such as mental health awareness campaigns, workshops, and wellness events that bolster a culture of support within the school community.
  • Maintain thorough, confidential, and compliant records in alignment with ethical standards and state regulations, ensuring student information is secured and appropriately documented.

Our ideal therapist will focus on a diverse student population, including adolescents facing various psychological challenges ranging from academic pressure to personal crises. The counselor will be pivotal in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for students to express themselves and seek support.

Qualifications
  • An active and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

  • Keen knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic models suitable for short-term and solution-focused therapy in an educational context.
  • The ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively while adapting to a fast-paced environment, ensuring each student receives the attention they need.
Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with digital mental health service delivery, including teletherapy platforms and online resource management.
  • Active engagement in continued education and professional development endeavors within the field of mental health.

  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan options, generous paid time off, and support for professional growth.
  • Opportunities for continued education with access to relevant training sessions and mental health workshops.
  • Collaboration opportunities with a vibrant team of professionals, fostering a culture of mentorship and learning.
