Job description

Purpose
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex, high‑volume healthcare software implementation projects from initiation through completion. You will own delivery, financial performance, and client satisfaction by proactively managing scope, timelines, risks, budgets, and cross‑functional teams.
You will serve as a senior leader within the Project Management organization, driving process improvement and mentoring other Project Managers while handling up to 20 projects simultaneously.
Clinisys' AI Philosophy
Building an AI‑first organization is central to Clinisys' purpose and the impact we deliver. As a global provider of intelligent diagnostic informatics solutions, we build AI‑enabled, cloud‑based platforms to enhance diagnostic workflows across healthcare, life sciences, and public health.
By applying intelligent technology thoughtfully and responsibly, we help laboratories and testing environments operate more effectively, generate meaningful insights at scale, and ultimately support healthier and safer communities.
Operating across 30+ countries, Clinisys expects all colleagues-regardless of role or function-to work confidently with AI‑enabled tools, apply digital and analytical thinking, continuously adapt as technologies evolve, and drive an AI‑first sense of purpose and urgency.
Essential Functions
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple concurrent, large‑scale healthcare implementations, ensuring on‑time, on‑scope, and on‑budget execution
  • Own project financial management, including forecasting, tracking, variance analysis, and margin performance; partner closely with internal and external finance teams
  • Develop and actively manage detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, and change control
  • Set and manage client expectations through clear communication, proactive risk management, and executive‑level reporting
  • Facilitate weekly and bi‑weekly project meetings; drive accountability for milestones, deliverables, and corrective actions
  • Identify, document, and resolve risks and issues; lead problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict‑resolution sessions
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex project challenges and executive stakeholder communications
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting on progress, risks, financials, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, Services, Sales, and Engineering to align delivery schedules and client outcomes
  • Improve and standardize delivery processes, tools, and documentation across implementation teams
  • Mentor and coach Associate and Project Managers on delivery excellence, financial discipline, and stakeholder leadership
  • Support portfolio‑level initiatives and partner with Program Management leadership on continuous improvement efforts

Skills Needed to Be Successful
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high‑volume projects in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment
  • Strong project financial management skills, including budget ownership and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated success influencing outcomes with internal teams, external partners, and executive stakeholders
  • Advanced problem‑solving, analytical, and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level communications
  • Ability to lead distributed, cross‑functional teams with accountability and urgency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools

Required Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years managing large, complex software implementation projects
  • 5+ years partnering with client stakeholders at the Director level or above
  • Healthcare or health system project management experience (employee, contractor, or consultant)
  • Hands‑on experience managing EMR‑related projects
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (or ability to obtain within 2 years)
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools for managing projects

Preferred Experience & Education
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital, or health system environments, including use of AI components for project management
  • Experience managing LIMS or laboratory system implementations
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and/or Kantata
  • Previous experience in healthcare, hospital or health system environments

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None

Physical Requirements
  • Work performed in a normal or remote office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Up to 25% travel may be required
  • Travel to client sites that may pose risks associated with healthcare environments
  • May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements
