Reports to: Portfolio Lead
Location: Remote

The Project Manager provides oversight, management, and direction for technology projects to meet strategic and tactical business goals for assigned customers. This role requires a customer-facing, professional, and energetic individual who can operate independently while adhering to PMO processes based on PMI and Agile methodology. The Project Manager ensures project success through planning, execution, client communication, and team coordination.
Responsibilities :
Client Partnership amp; Advisory
  • Serve as a customer-facing professional representing KiZAN with energy and professionalism.
  • Build lasting relationships with client personnel and act as a trusted partner.
  • Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, KiZAN account executives, and internal teams.
  • Understand clients' business needs and objectives and help translate them into project requirements
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Project Delivery amp; Execution
  • Follow PMO processes with minimal supervision.
  • Create, execute, and adjust project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Assign resources, manage schedules, and allocate team responsibilities.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including scope, deliverables, budgets, and time tracking.
  • Track team hours and expenses to ensure accurate reporting and billing.
  • Resolve or escalate project issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Minimize risk and exposure for KiZAN and clients throughout project lifecycle.
  • Ensure quality and adherence to methodology via engagement reviews and documentation.
Team Leadership amp; Development
  • Motivate project teams to work collaboratively and efficiently.
  • Mitigate team conflicts and communication problems.
  • Maintain awareness of team workload and performance while fostering accountability.
Business Development amp; Financial Performance
  • Identify business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to assigned projects.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, from single-resource to multi-resource assignments
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; able to communicate comfortably with end users and executive management
  • Proven ability to manage revenue, utilization, and gross margin performance
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them effectively
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and discretion
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight travel
Preferred skills
  • Experience in professional services organizations
  • Experience working with software development teams and technical delivery environments
  • Familiarity with ALM tools such as Team Foundation Server or equivalent platforms
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
