Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate each client's substance abuse history, mental health status, and specific treatment needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques designed to guide clients through their recovery journey.
  • Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure they align with personal recovery goals.
  • Engage and educate clients' families, providing tools and resources to foster their involvement throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals battling substance addiction, offering them the critical support they need to achieve sobriety and improved mental health. Qualifications
  • Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling with a solid understanding of treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices tailored for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and motivate clients through their recovery journey.
