Key responsibilities

  • Build quick, AI-assisted solutions to address immediate business problems.

  • Develop larger exploratory product prototypes from concept to tangible implementation.

  • Collaborate with senior team members to deliver functional software that unblocks business operations.

Job description

VRIFY is positioned at the forefront of the mining industry's transformation, leveraging cutting-edge AI to revolutionize mineral exploration. With a focus on AI drill targeting, VRIFY is expanding its capabilities by synthesizing vast amounts of geological information. This integration enhances the precision and efficiency of exploration strategies, offering our clients innovative solutions that depart from traditional methods.

Our mission extends beyond technological advancement. We are committed to transforming how mining companies engage with investors, aiming to foster a more transparent and accountable mining investment ecosystem. VRIFY's technology enables immersive 3D and 360 presentations that provide investors with a vivid and detailed visual context, making complex geological data accessible and engaging.

As we continue to refine our AI-driven solutions, VRIFY remains dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in the mining sector, ensuring our clients and investors are well-equipped to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.

About the Role

We're looking for a technically sharp co-op student who loves turning ambiguous problems into working software, fast. You'll split your time between quick-turnaround workarounds that unblock business operations and longer-horizon product prototypes that explore what we could build next.

What You'll Work On

Quick technical workarounds: Build fast, AI-assisted solutions to immediate business problems. Scrappy and shipped.

Product prototypes: Larger exploratory builds, taking ideas from concept to something tangible.

Variety: No two weeks will look the same across tools, tasks, and problem types.

Who You'll Work With

You'll collaborate directly with our Product Advisor and our COO.

Who We're Looking For

Someone comfortable diving into unfamiliar problems, iterating fast with AI tools, and shipping things that actually work. You don't need to have done this before. You need to be the kind of person who figures it out.

What We Offer

  • Paid work term with real ownership - your work ships and unblocks the business, not busywork.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership - you'll work hand-in-hand with a Senior Product Manager and our COO.
  • Flexible, remote work with the option to use our workspace in Downtown Vancouver (free snacks & gym).
  • Range - a genuinely varied problem set that stretches you across tools and domains.

Terms of Employment

  • Fixed-term co-op work term, remote in Canada. Runs September to December 2026, with the possibility of extension based on business need.
  • Full-time hours during the work term, aligned to your co-op program.
  • Compensation: $37.50 to $40.00 CAD per hour
  • Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-op or internship program.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

We strive to create an environment where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, identity, or experience. We understand that unique perspectives and backgrounds bring invaluable insights and contribute to the richness of our culture and the effectiveness of our solutions. If you have a disability or any special needs that we might need to accommodate, please let us know.
