This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support. If you are passionate about facilitating emotional wellness and recovery through evidence-based practices, we encourage you to apply and embark on a fulfilling career with us.

About the Organization

At Johnson's Harbor Therapy, located in beautiful Tampa, Florida, we are committed to helping individuals live their best lives. We specialize in providing comprehensive therapies aimed at emotional health and wellness, along with services that support substance use recovery, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation. Our mission is rooted in respect, integrity, and compassion, allowing us to tailor person-driven programming that fosters independence, community engagement, and wellness among those we serve.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, enabling you to create a comfortable workspace that suits your lifestyle while maintaining a work-life balance. We believe in empowering our employees to pursue passion projects, connect deeply with our participants, and provide flexible support that adapts to their needs. You won’t be merely in a job; you will be part of a mission-driven team that values collaboration and teamwork, all while communicating via telehealth platforms to provide care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, including the establishment of pre-crisis and crisis plans.
  • Provide timely documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools to accurately assess and monitor client progress in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that promote client well-being.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that our practice remains up-to-date and compliant with state and national standards.
  • Serve as a reliable liaison to external service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance client support networks.
  • Foster open lines of communication with stakeholders to uphold contract standards and promote our organizational mission effectively within the community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies as well as private organizations to promote our programs and secure partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and representing the organization in statewide committees or task forces.
  • Promote our agency's core mission, values, and principles in all interactions while performing any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse spectrum of clients, including individuals coping with mental health disorders, those recovering from substance abuse, patients with developmental disabilities, and individuals who have experienced brain injury. By employing a client-centered approach, you will facilitate therapeutic relationships that empower clients on their path to recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory.
  • Possession of an Independent LMHC License is essential.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies is highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in developing crisis intervention strategies and behavior support plans.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating a range of mental health conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Prior experience in engaging with community resources and external agencies.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes monthly productivity bonuses, ongoing supervision, a flexible schedule, and the potential for professional growth through continued education opportunities. Our benefits also encompass a 403B plan with a 3% match, generous paid time off (PTO), health, dental, and vision insurance, and access to dependent care accounts.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Johnson's Harbor Therapy, we prioritize the growth of our counselors and encourage participation in professional development activities. You will have access to mentorship and ongoing supervision, enabling you to work toward additional certifications while advancing in your career. Opportunities to attend workshops, seminars, and conferences will further enhance your skills and professional network.
