This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to support individuals navigating challenging mental health issues within a hospice setting. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in providing personalized care that enhances the emotional well-being of our clients and their families.

About the Organization

At the Mental Therapeutic Consulting Center, located in vibrant Austin, Texas, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality outpatient mental health services that are both accessible and compassionate. Our clinic specializes in a variety of mental health challenges and is committed to fostering an environment of healing and resiliency. We embrace a holistic approach that values each person’s unique journey toward mental health and wellness, focusing not only on treatment but also on education and support for our clients and their families.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still providing essential services to those in need. You will collaborate with a passionate team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care. Although the position is remote, our team culture emphasizes connection, regular meetings, and shared resources to support your success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ mental health, strengths, and available resources.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate client-centered treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning to help stabilize clients in high-stress situations.
  • Document therapy sessions and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner, in line with ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational programming to empower clients and their families through shared experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing end-of-life challenges and their families, who often have complex emotional and psychological needs. Your expertise will aid in addressing grief, anxiety, and conflicts that may arise during this critical time. The diverse clientele presents an opportunity for you to utilize your skills to promote mental health and wellbeing while providing compassionate support in the hospice setting.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active and current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, ideally with a focus on hospice or palliative care.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices and a strong understanding of treatment modalities applicable to diverse diagnoses.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate effectively with various health professionals.
  • Familiarity with documentation and electronic health record systems relevant to mental health practices.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, based on expertise and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision.
  • Retirement plans with an employer match to secure your future.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation days, personal holidays, and traditional holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional development through continuing education and training programs.
  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining our team means more than just a job; it’s a chance to grow professionally and personally. We are committed to fostering the development of our staff. Through ongoing education, mentorship programs, and leadership opportunities, you will be supported in your career advancement while making a real impact on our clients’ lives.

Why Join Our Team
