Description:
In this role, the Data Analyst will provide analytical data support through data extraction, transformation, and analysis utilizing Python, SQL, and other statistical and data engineering tools. The Data Analyst will support data integration, ETL processes, reporting, and advanced analytics while working independently and collaboratively with project stakeholders to develop high-quality, data-driven solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Data Modeling
  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration, validation, reporting, and analytics requirements.

  • Conduct routine and advanced business analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and explanatory or predictive modeling to support operational and strategic decisions.

  • Build and apply complex analytical models and data solutions using tools such as Python, Snowflake, Databricks R, SQL and SAS to address project-specific requirements and support operational decision-making.

  • Research industry best practices and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions and actionable recommendations for improving business operations.

  • Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data pipelines across relational and cloud-based data platforms.

  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of analytical datasets.

Client Engagement and Reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to gather analytical requirements and deliver ad hoc reports and data products that meet defined objectives.

  • Interpret business data and translate findings into clear, meaningful insights for diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and technical stakeholders to define data requirements and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and reporting solutions.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Participate in team projects and brainstorming sessions to evaluate methodologies and study designs that support program goals.

  • Communicate analytical methods and results clearly, ensuring procedures and outcomes are well understood by both technical teams and end users.

  • Research best practices and supports developing the solutions and recommendations for the current business operations.

  • Performs routine business analysis using various techniques (e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining).

  • Provides business data interpretation.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive and/or business confidential information obtained or accessed during the course of business and/or contract operations.

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable privacy and security training requirements (both IntegrityM and external/client-based), whether on an annual or ad/hoc basis.

Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or a related discipline, or in another relevant field in health-related, scientific, or public policy/business discipline with extensive quantitative methods/statistical coursework.
  • Possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, SQL development, ETL processes, reporting, business intelligence, or related data management functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and SAS, with experience utilizing cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks to support data analysis, project requirements, reporting, automation, and operational decision-making.
  • Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows within cloud-based environments such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong SQL proficiency, including writing complex queries, joins, views, and stored procedures; performing data validation and performance optimization; and supporting data warehousing, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
  • Knowledge of intermediate data analysis techniques, including data profiling, trend analysis, statistical methods, and data quality assessment.
  • Responds to tasks or requests in a cooperative and timely manner.
  • Demonstrates adaptability to change and initiates or identifies change when necessary.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally conveying results in concise yet non-technically language to a variety of different audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet the needs of the organization.

U.S. remote annual salary range: $55,000-$85,000/annual
For candidates in jurisdictions requiring range disclosure, this is the good-faith range for this role; final pay may vary by work location and job-related factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
