• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic goals and measurable objectives.
• Participate in crisis intervention planning, crafting pre-crisis and crisis strategies that prioritize client safety and effective stabilization techniques.
• Ensure thorough and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with regulatory standards, including risk assessments, medication treatment plans, and behavioral guidelines.
• Leverage evidence-based screening tools to monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to design and implement positive behavior support plans aimed at fostering client autonomy and reducing maladaptive behaviors.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all governmental and ethical standards.

The mental health counselor will work with a diverse client population experiencing various challenges, including emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and issues related to acquired brain injuries. By addressing these complex needs, you will help clients navigate their paths to recovery, increase their emotional well-being, and achieve their personal goals.

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is essential for this role.
• Must be eligible for licensure by the State of Washington.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing for occasional client visits or meetings, if needed.
• Exceptional communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and team members.
• A strong capacity for empathy, combined with a skillful approach to providing guidance.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning.

• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting, working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
• Experience in developing and implementing group therapy or support programs.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
