Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate emotional and psychological healing.
• Regularly monitor client progress throughout their treatment plan and adjust interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans that address all aspects of a client's mental health.
• Ensure timely follow-ups with clients after hospital admissions to coordinate care and support their reintegration into the community.
• Identify behaviors that may impede recovery and implement strategies to address these challenges effectively.
• Offer guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them understand and manage mental health challenges within the family structure.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will serve a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Each session is an opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approach to the unique backgrounds, experiences, and needs of each client, fostering a deep sense of empathy and connection.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• Proven work experience in mental health counseling or a similar role, demonstrating your ability to provide effective therapeutic support.
• Strong understanding of the effects of medications and treatment plans prescribed by medical providers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 101,000 annually, based on your experience and productivity. We provide a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
