Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Clarity Happiness Therapy Center, you will:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.
• Engage in intake appointments to assess the needs and goals of new clients, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Utilize evidenced-based counseling techniques to support clients with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders while integrating creative strategies that promote engagement and progress.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with medical professionals and other clinicians, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each client’s care.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking milestones and updating treatment goals to reflect their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily includes individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, including those with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. You will be an advocate for clients who may feel marginalized or overwhelmed, working to restore their sense of agency and hope for the future.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience or familiarity with various counseling techniques, such as grief counseling and addiction counseling, will be considered an asset. Proven ability to work in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth platforms effectively, is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
