Job description

POSITION DUTIES:

  1. Assemble and mail annual recertification packets for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for all applicable service recipients (those in congregate care level II facilities).
  2. Monitor monthly EBT SNAP Redemption Schedule as a safety measure for all service recipients within congregate care level II facilities and maintain monthly worksheet of SNAP redemption in the Billing/Entitlements shared drive.
  3. Complete NYC & NYS Medicaid recertification packets for all service recipients within congregate care level II and intermediate care facilities.
  4. Submit reports to Residential Administrator(s) and Vice President(s) of Residential Programs outlining conserved funds balances over the Social Security resource (asset) limit.
  5. Prepare Social Security recertification for all individuals in receipt of Social Security Income.
  6. Complete Social Security representative payee forms for all applicable service recipients.
  7. Execute and ensure accurate personal information, as well as, benefit/insurance information, and living arrangements for all service recipients within the billing software (FUNDEZ).
  8. Interface with Residential Coordinators, Residential Administrators and Vice Presidents of Residential Programs.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Associate's Degree in related field.
  2. Minimum one (1) year related experience.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  4. Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency's corporate compliance program, including the code of business conduct, the NYS and Federal False Claims Acts, whistleblower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all corporate compliance investigations and reviews.
