What does a full time real estate photographer do?

A full time real estate photographer specializes in taking high-quality photographs and sometimes videos of residential or commercial properties for real estate listings. Their work helps showcase properties in the best possible light, attracting potential buyers or renters. They often use professional equipment, advanced editing techniques, and may also create virtual tours or drone footage. In addition, they frequently collaborate with real estate agents, property managers, and homeowners to schedule shoots and ensure properties are presented at their best. Their goal is to help properties stand out in a competitive market and sell or lease faster.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time real estate photographer?

To excel as a Full Time Real Estate Photographer, you need strong photography skills, an understanding of lighting and composition, and experience with both interior and exterior property shoots, typically supported by a portfolio. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and strong client communication skills set top professionals apart. These skills ensure visually appealing listings that attract buyers and satisfy client expectations in a competitive real estate market.

What are some common challenges faced by full time real estate photographers, and how can they be managed?

  • You are willing to learn, connect with a great team, and bring excellence to clients.
  • You like to be a part of a great culture of winning and having fun!
