Job description

  • Join a world-class growth team building the future of how small businesses discover, adopt, and grow with QuickBooks. As a Principal PM on Product Growth, you'll own strategy and outcomes for one of our biggest company bets - spanning acquisition, activation, engagement, monetization, and retention across the customer lifecycle.
  • You'll set direction across multiple product areas, define where we play and how we win, and rally engineering, design, data science, and marketing behind a clear, data-backed point of view. This is an offering-level role for someone who thinks in experiments, funnels, and durable capabilities, not one-off features.
  • Growth priorities shift as we learn, so this role is built to flex. You may anchor on top bets like Mid-Market growth or scaling our freemium front door, with scope evolving as the business and your strengths dictate.

Responsibilities

  • Own the growth strategy and roadmap for a major product area, connecting near-term experimentation to durable business outcomes across the customer lifecycle.
  • Directly accountable for business results - incremental revenue, active use, conversion, and retention - with clear North Star and operational KPIs.
  • Drive an AI-first product strategy, reimagining end-to-end customer journeys with AI at the center rather than optimizing features in isolation.
  • Set the bar for a high-velocity experimentation culture, from discovery and hypothesis generation through A/B testing on the highest-leverage surfaces.
  • Influence senior leadership and cross-functional partners with compelling, data-backed narratives; align teams on target customers and the strategy to win them.
  • Coach and raise the craft of PMs and partners around you, and help shape the team's identity and operating model as we scale the growth muscle.
  • Partner deeply with engineering, design, data science, and growth marketing to ship scalable, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on product-led growth, funnel optimization, or growth in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Track record of owning offering- or segment-level strategy and delivering measurable business outcomes across acquisition, activation, engagement, or retention.
  • Deep expertise in experimentation and A/B testing, with fluency in behavioral data, funnel analytics, and how customers actually use a product.
  • Experience applying AI/ML - personalization, predictive engagement, and AI-accelerated discovery and delivery - within a product growth context.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills; you can rally senior executives and cross-functional partners around a clear strategy and a strong point of view.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage org building; you've helped stand up or scale a growth function, and you coach others to a higher bar.
