  Radiologic Technologist โ€“ North Carolina Triangle Region

Location: Carrboro, NC  Schedule: Full time

 
Role Overview

A major healthcare provider in the North Carolina Triangle region is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This position offers exposure to a wide range of patient populations, modern imaging technology, and a collaborative clinical environment.

 
Primary Functions
  • Perform high quality diagnostic radiographic exams following established protocols

  • Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safety and comfort

  • Operate digital radiography systems and related imaging equipment

  • Verify orders, patient identification, and clinical indications

  • Maintain accurate documentation within PACS and the electronic medical record

  • Support radiologists during specialized or complex procedures

  • Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles

  • Collaborate with nursing, ED, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain efficient patient flow

  • Participate in department quality initiatives and continuing education

 
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • ARRT (R) certification required (or eligible)

  • North Carolina state license required (or willing to obtain)

  • BLS certification

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced clinical environment
