Horticultural Function

  • Continual improvement of pest management best practicesand techniques

  • Source equipment and vendors for pest managementand prevention

  • Develop SOPs for all horticulturerelated activities at alllocations

  • Develop plant science and growingparameters

  • Travel to all locations as needed to instill best growing practices.

  • Help troubleshoot and determine root cause for yield decreases acrosslocations

Research and Development Function

  • Conduct new variety trials andselection

  • Manage data collection andorganization

  • Conduct new growing systemtrials

  • Assist with design of new growsystems

  • Communicate with strategic partners to improve R+D process, variety selection, and growingparameters

  • Send out tissue samples foranalysis

  • Develop and oversee nutrient managementplan

  • Determine refill solutions to extend nutrient solutionlife

  • Oversee nutrient solution testing and equipmentupkeep
