As a software quality assurance analyst lead, you will define and institute software quality assurance processes and controls, lead testing activities throughout the software application development lifecycle, and guide teams in delivering technology solutions that meet quality standards and production release timeframes. You will provide leadership, mentorship, education, and consultation on quality assurance practices, methodologies, governance, and release readiness.

As a software quality assurance analyst lead, you will: Lead quality control and test management - Establish test priorities, coordinate testing activities, participate in requirements and design reviews, and oversee the development and execution of test requirements, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts. Drive quality management and governance - Plan and oversee quality assurance practices and controls across multiple projects, releases, and production support activities; define best practices; and improve processes and procedures. Advance functional and technical testing capabilities - Manage complex testing processes, assess release testing scope, maintain manual and automated regression test suites, and research new testing methods and tools, including automation, load, and performance testing.

Guide delivery across the software lifecycle - Partner with technology and business teams to establish scope, gather meaningful requirements, identify testing needs and risks, and ensure quality standards and production deadlines are met. Provide leadership, consultation, and mentorship - Direct and mentor quality assurance analysts and other testing contributors, communicate progress and recommendations, facilitate project and release reviews, and support consistent quality management and controls. We'd love to hear from people with: 7 years of work experience in software application development and software quality assurance testing 7 years of experience instituting test management processes, methods, and tools supporting functional and non-functional test automation, load and performance, volume and stress testing Bachelor's degree with coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or a related field or degree equivalent, and/or work experience in Software Development Quality Assurance Aspirations for leadership brilliance, intellectual curiosity, and operational excellence Organization and planning skills Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing Attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic environment Ability to develop applicable test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style Demonstrated ability to improve individual job skills through training, self-research, and self-study Knowledge of testing methodologies and software development lifecycle concepts Knowledge of testing best practices and approaches for custom-developed and consumer off-the-shelf packaged applications Knowledge of test management processes, functional and non-functional test planning and execution, version control, and defect tracking methods using associated tools Experience with software quality assurance testing related to release management Understanding of cloud computing services, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Understanding of application and system architecture concepts, including service-oriented architecture (SOA) Familiarity with mobile digital technologies related to testing Demonstrated technical skills, including an understanding of automated test script execution and related tools Ability to work with one or more programming languages used for test script development Basic understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers, and databases Basic understanding of project management functions and related tools As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits.
