The Director, Business Intelligence will lead the strategy, evolution, and execution of analytics and reporting across Brand Networks. This role is responsible for defining the future state of Business Intelligence and Data Science, transforming data into actionable insights that guide client strategy, product development, and operational performance.

You will lead a high-impact BI function, establish best practices for reporting and data governance, and partner closely with Product, Client Solutions, Engineering, Media, and Executive Leadership to ensure analytics is embedded into how BN operates and grows.

  • Define and own the Business Intelligence vision, roadmap, and long-term analytics strategy for Brand Networks.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Data Scientists and Data Analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and impact.
  • Act as the primary analytics partner to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Design and oversee scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and self‑service analytics solutions that support internal teams and clients.
  • Establish KPIs, measurement frameworks, and performance metrics aligned to business, media, product, and client objectives.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives including trend analysis, forecasting, segmentation, and performance optimization.
Data & Enablement
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to ensure reliable data pipelines, data quality, and accessible data models.
  • Champion best practices around data governance, documentation, and reporting consistency across the organization.
  • Ensure efficient access to data across multiple sources, platforms, and tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Client Solutions, Product Management, Engineering, Media, and Sales to embed analytics into workflows and decision‑making.
  • Support client‑facing teams with insights that demonstrate performance, ROI, and strategic opportunity.
  • Identify opportunities where analytics and reporting can unlock new products, services, or revenue streams.
  • Stay current on emerging BI tools, analytics methodologies, and industry trends relevant to social media, digital marketing, and ad tech.
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve BI tools and technologies to meet the growing needs of the business.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and applying AI‑powered tools and best practices to improve efficiency, enhance decision‑making, and support scalable, data‑driven solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data‑driven roles. Experience in digital marketing, media, or ad tech is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading analytics or BI teams and setting strategic direction.
  • Strong expertise in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) and data analysis using SQL; experience with Python or R a plus.
