Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join a compassionate, patient-centered organization dedicated to teamwork and high-quality care. This role focuses on evaluating, designing, fitting, and managing prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients with limb loss, musculoskeletal conditions, and physical disabilities.


Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and collaborate with physicians
• Design, fabricate, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices
• Adjust and modify devices to ensure proper fit and function
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use and maintenance
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliant coding practices
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain ABC/BOC certification and required CEUs
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional standards
• Support operational and financial performance goals


Qualifications

• ABC or BOC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)
• Active state license (or ability to obtain)
• 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, gait analysis, and Medicare guidelines
• CAD/CAM or design software experience preferred


Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics (CAAHEP-accredited)
• Completion of NCOPE-accredited residency
