Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Overview
  • Tower 1: 48 bed medical-surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care
  • Tower 3: 48 bed medical-surgical intermediate care unit
  • Tower 4: 48 bed medical-surgical cardiac telemetry unit
  • Tower 5: 48 bed medical-surgical unit specializing in stroke and neurological illnesses
  • Tower 6: 48 bed medical-surgical unit specializing in renal care
  • 4CA/4CB: Short Stay Unit
  • ED Boarders

Pay
  • Base Pay based on working years of experience as a nurse
  • Hourly float pool differential (X 12 hours)

Available Roles:
  • Full Time Nights
  • Full Time Days
  • PRN

Full Time Requirements
  • Three 12-hour shifts
  • 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
  • 3 designated holidays per year
  • 2 hard-to-fill shifts per year (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter Sunday, Halloween, Super Bowl Sunday, Black Friday, 4th of July Nights)

PRN Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 shifts per 6 weeks
  • If working a straight day or straight night shift, 3 (of the 6 shifts) weekend shifts required
  • If working rotating shifts, must work at least 3 night or weekend shifts
  • 1 holiday per year
  • 1 hard-to-fill shift per year

Qualifications
  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • 2 years of RN experience required; at least 2+ years of acute care RN experience, particularly in Med Surg Telemetry, strongly preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross) by completion of introductory period. ACLS & NIHSS strongly preferred.

This position has a hiring range of
USD $42.48 - USD $63.34 /Hr.
