We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaboration with health team members, in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.

  • Actively engage in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
  • Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey.
  • Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SPBH.
  • Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.
  • Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required and able to produce a valid Georgia State RN license. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior, including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment and before assisting in restraining procedures. exceptional crisis management and time management skills. Showcase your flexibility and creativity with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Exhibit a calm, organized, and professional demeanor even in stressful situations.
