The Opportunity:

You will serve as a vital operational anchor, keeping financial records accurate while supporting project management, payroll, and overall office operations. This role offers you the autonomy to take ownership of key administrative responsibilities in a collaborative, small-team environment. You will directly impact company success by ensuring seamless financial tracking and day-to-day operational efficiency for residential remodeling projects.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Maintain precise financial records in QuickBooks Online, including transaction categorization, receipt management, account reconciliations, and job costing.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable by processing vendor bills, issuing customer invoices, and resolving account questions.
  • Integrate financial data across JobTread and Buildertrend to maintain complete consistency between project management software and accounting systems.
  • Execute biweekly payroll and assist with employee onboarding, records management, and benefits administration through Gusto.
  • Coordinate daily office operations, monitor supply inventory, manage incoming mail, and support executive administrative needs for the owner.
  • Track project-specific expenses and deliver timely financial updates to keep active remodeling builds on schedule and within budget.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of proven professional bookkeeping experience, ideally within residential construction or remodeling.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and core accounting principles, including job costing and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple administrative deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and digital document management.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Direct experience utilizing JobTread or Buildertrend project management software.
  • Familiarity running payroll and managing HR documentation through Gusto or a similar platform.
