As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee the successful completion of various misc. metals projects from start to finish. From managing timelines and budgets to coordinating with clients and ensuring quality control, you will be at the forefront of every project, making sure that everything runs smoothly.

Day to day as a Project Manager
In this role, you will work closely with the Detailing Manager to prepare and manage steel detailing and surveying of shop/fabrication drawings. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with subcontractors and vendors of other trades, ensuring the smooth progress of assigned projects. But what sets this position apart is the chance to be involved in every aspect of the project, from preparing and negotiating change orders to maintaining "As Built" drawings.
You'll have the opportunity to create and establish schedules, coordinate with contractors and trades, and maintain positive client relationships. Your exceptional attention to detail will shine as you read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements and communicate and coordinate effectively with all parties involved. Would you be a great Project Manager?

  • Deep understanding of the fabricating and erecting process of miscellaneous metals.
  • Experience coordinating and supervising subcontracted vendors.
  • Strong understanding of reading specifications and blueprints to accurately determine material requirements.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Must be skilled in using project management software to create and maintain schedules, track progress and manage budgets:
    • Microsoft Project, Primavera (preferred)
    • Tekla, Trimble, Powerfab, Fabtrol (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively handle and maintain important project documents in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
