WHO YOU ARE:
An experienced and highly skilled Project Manager ready to lead complex, enterprise-level projects with significant independence. You are a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, adept at managing multiple projects, mitigating risks, and effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders. You thrive on guiding projects from initiation to successful completion, leveraging strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Project Manager IV performs advanced (senior-level) project management work for the Workforce Development Division. Work involves coordinating the planning and initiation of diverse projects at various levels of completion; monitoring the progress and schedule of projects; and communicating with project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties. May direct, assign and evaluate the work of project staff. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Direct, develop and evaluate projects using accepted project management methodologies.
-Represent the department and division on cross-agency work groups, committees or councils. The Project Manager develops and delivers presentations, conduct briefings, and initiates division action.
-Develop project budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates and projections.
-Monitor the quality and progress of projects and deliverables to predefined criteria.
-Monitor and manages project quality to ensure project deliverables are acceptable, timely, and where applicable fulfill the terms of the project specifications and identifies potential project risks and difficulties and designs strategies to mitigate or avoid them.
-Maintain a tracking sheet identifying key projects in the division, current status and timeline for completion and communicates status updates and actions. Follows up with Division Directors for status updates and action.
-Coordinate and communicate with TWC executive management, partner agencies, stakeholders and other relevant parties to develop and implement division projects and strategies and identifies the need to revise or improve initiatives, strategies and plans based on management, partner and stakeholder input.
-Develop and implement plans for internal and external communication about division initiatives and projects.
-Prepare reports, studies, evaluations, and briefing documents.
-Prepare or lead the development of scope of work documents, guidance documents, resource materials, and project deliverables.
-Compile and distribute project information and status reports to executive management and stakeholders.
-Create documentation procedures to capture and manage changes in original project plan.
-Coordinate and facilitates meetings to ensure achievement of strategies and project deliverables. Makes presentations, provides information, and initiates division action in response to division-specific assignments.
-May occasionally oversee multiple projects concurrently.
-May direct, assign and evaluate the work of project staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU QUALIFY WITH:
- Five years of full-time experience in project management work, business analysis, or project administration; or five years of full-time experience in the oversight of an agency program or in strategic planning and policy implementation.
-Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
-One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Project Manager III with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
