Description
At Matthews Motors (a Dealer for Cela Platforms), we provide services of advanced aerial work platforms and access solutions. Our equipment is trusted around the world for its safety, reliability, and performance-helping industries from construction to utilities get the job done at height.
We're growing, and we're looking for a technically inclined, hands-on technician to support the manufacture Product Manager in both field operations and product quality.
What You'll Do
As a Technician, you'll gain end-to-end exposure to how high-performance access equipment is maintained, repaired and improved. You'll work closely with the Product Manager on a range of tasks-from technical documentation and site inspections to hands-on support with product testing and installation.
  • Supporting on-site inspections, installations, and customer demonstrations-often at height.
  • Conducting basic diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on machines, with training provided.
  • Operating and transporting equipment safely, including driving a pickup truck with trailer.
  • Performing administrative tasks including email correspondence and report preparation using Microsoft Office.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical documents, specifications, and test reports.
  • Collaborating with engineering, logistics, and customer support teams.
  • Attending product training sessions to expand your technical knowledge and certification base.
  • Assisting with product development tasks including prototyping, quality checks, and feedback gathering.

Requirements
What You Bring
We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a willingness to grow. You don't need years of experience-we'll train the right candidate-but you do need to be reliable, proactive, and eager to work with mechanical systems and equipment in real-world environments.
Requirements:
  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 140ft) and in outdoor conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a pickup and trailer.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and a mechanical mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality.
  • Willingness to travel to worksites as needed.

Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience in field service, construction, or equipment maintenance.
  • Exposure to aerial platforms, lifting systems, or heavy machinery.
  • Technical training, certification, or trade school background
