The Au cœur de la vie residence in Saint-André-D'Argenteuil is a residence that offers care and services for 18 residents with intellectual disabilities with autism spectrum disorder and severe behavioral disorder. Main tasks: • Implement and respect residents' intervention plans; • Housework (Cleaning the room, floors and toilets) (Common tasks); • Assistance related to daily living activities (Assistance with housing, nutrition and hygiene) (with 1 for 1 mainly); • Laundry (Communes de Tâches); • Accompaniment (1 for 1); • Security (1 for 1); • Other related tasks as determined by the CEO or department head. Requirements: • Hold a high school diploma and/or higher; • Hold the BSP card (private security office) an asset; • ITCA training or any other training related to DI customers is an asset; • CPR; • Having accumulated a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field or the equivalent; • Available every other weekend, if necessary.
