Sr Premium Billing Specialist III
Responsible for accurately balancing and reconciling health plan accounts receivable (AR). Researches, posts and reconciles cash receipts and AR premiums. The Premium Billing Analyst directs an assigned group.
Full Time, Hybrid position Sentara Health Plans, Virginia Beach
Provides Mentorship/guidance to team
Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, Posting Payments, Write-offs, Refunds, Phone/Customer Service recovery
MS Teams
Excel ( Development and Creation, Pivot Tables, Spreadsheets)
Outlook/Workday
Education
  • High School Graduate or equivalent

Certification/Licensure
  • No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience
  • 5 years related experience required
  • Communication Skills, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Posting payments, experience with write-offs and refunds
  • Development/creation level of experience for Excel
  • Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Dashboards
